Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Armas Films LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of StudyDSA(the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is a general-audience educational platform and is not directed at children under 13.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, keep it up to date, and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. One account per person; do not share, resell, or transfer your account. Notify us at support@studydsa.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service and its content, including articles, problem explanations, code samples, diagrams, and software, all of which are protected by intellectual property laws.

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing frequency, and the specific features included will be disclosed clearly at checkout before you confirm your purchase.

Auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (for example, monthly or annually) at the then-current rate, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize Armas Films LLC, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. We will attempt to notify you of any material price change before it takes effect.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing settings, which open the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until then. We do not charge cancellation fees and do not require you to call, email, or chat with us in order to cancel.

Refunds

Initial purchases are refundable within 7 days if you have not made substantial use of paid content. Renewal charges are non-refundable except where required by law, or in clear cases of billing error or duplicate charge; contact us at support@studydsa.com within 30 days of the charge and we will work with you in good faith.

California auto-renewal disclosures

If you live in California, you may cancel a paid subscription at any time through the in-product cancellation flow described above, and we will not require any retention call or other obstacle. Renewal terms (price, cadence, when the next charge will occur, and how to cancel) are disclosed clearly and conspicuously at checkout in accordance with California Business and Professions Code § 17600 et seq.

Taxes

Subscription fees are stated exclusive of any sales, value-added, or similar taxes, which may be added at checkout where required by law.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service except as permitted by our public APIs (if any).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or training data from the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to paid features.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to train a model that competes with us.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except as part of a coordinated disclosure to support@studydsa.com.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone, or to engage in illegal activity.
• Bypass any access, rate-limit, or authentication mechanism, or interfere with the Service's operation.

All articles, problem walkthroughs, illustrations, diagrams, code samples, and other content authored by Armas Films LLC and made available through the Service are the property of Armas Films LLC or its licensors. You may use this content for your personal study. You may not republish it, sell it, or use it to train a machine-learning system without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you create (such as notes or progress data). By submitting it to the Service, you grant Armas Films LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content solely so that we can operate the Service for you.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. StudyDSA IS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE. ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING CODE SAMPLES, IS PROVIDED FOR LEARNING PURPOSES AND IS NOT GUARANTEED TO BE COMPLETE, CORRECT, OR FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE, INCLUDING TECHNICAL INTERVIEWS, EMPLOYMENT, OR PRODUCTION SOFTWARE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARMAS FILMS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100), OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Armas Films LLCand its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your account is used to harm other users or our infrastructure, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide reasonable advance notice when feasible. Upon termination, any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and miscellaneous) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Armas Films LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you and Armas Films LLC consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property.

Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to first contact us at support@studydsa.com and try to resolve the dispute informally. We will do the same. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 30 days, either party may proceed under Section 12. Small-claims actions are permitted in your local jurisdiction.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice (by email, in-product notice, or by posting an updated "Effective date" at the top of this page) before the change takes effect. Non-material changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Armas Films LLC regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
